Whaley adds endorsements from women leaders across Ohio

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nan Whaley today announced additional endorsements from women community leaders across Ohio – South Euclid Mayor Georgine Welo, Highland Hills Councilwoman Lillian Moore and Springfield Assistant Mayor Joyce Chilton.

“Ohioans and Ohio communities feel left behind by a Governor and Republican-dominated legislature whose priorities are focused on special interests, not the people of our state,” said Mayor Welo. “What we need is a governor who understands us and is willing to get it done for our communities by spurring innovation and attracting good-paying jobs. I know Nan Whaley works for us and will get it done for Ohio.”

“I’m honored by the support of these great women leaders from across Ohio,” said Mayor Whaley. “Our state’s diverse communities are what make Ohio great. And they could – and should – be even better. But our state is too busy catering to special interests and our communities are being ignored. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work so people in every corner of this state have the opportunity to thrive.”
